Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini admitted he is grateful for the international break after watching his side draw 2-2 at QPR.
Charlie Austin opened the scoring for QPR after finding the City net for the third time after 21 minutes.
The former Burnley man had two strikes ruled out in the space of 30 seconds after eight minutes, but each time the visitors' shambolic defense was reprieved.
He was offside in heading in, then City goalkeeper Joe Hart kicked the ball twice, firstly with his standing foot, before the striker scored. Referee Mike Dean correctly ruled out the effort.
The former Burnley man eventually got his goal but Sergio Aguero equalized before Austin's cross was then turned into his own net by Martin Demichelis.
Aguero then mesmerized the QPR defence for a second time to earn a draw.
City have now claimed just one win in their last six games and Pellegrini admits he is grateful for the international break.
"This team demonstrated that we are fighting," he said. "That we are not lacking trust or energy. We are in a very unlucky moment.
"We are not playing very well but I think we had enough chances to win this game.
"(It was) exactly the same against West Ham. That was our last (league) defeat where the goalkeeper was their best player.
"So I think these 15 days will be very useful to us to return to our normal style of play but we are in a very unlucky moment."
The draw left City eight points behind league leaders Chelsea, but Pellegrini added: "I am not worried about Chelsea.
"Chelsea is in a very good moment and we will see if they continue that moment until the end of the year.
"There are a lot more games to play."
