Greece defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos has been ruled out for Friday's World Cup qualifying match at home against group rival Bosnia.
The Schalke player was a standout for Greece at this summer's European Championship, but has a viral infection and will be replaced by Panathinaikos' Lazaros Christodoulopoulos.
The Greek football federation also announced Monday that AS Monaco's Giorgos Tzavelas will replace left back Jose Holebas, who suffered a right thigh strain after scoring the winning goal for Olympiakos at the weekend to earn a 1-0 win over Asteras Tripoli.
Greece and Bosnia both won their first two qualifiers in Group G.
