PAOK has regained the lead in the Greek playoffs, coming from behind to beat AEK Athens 2-1 on goals from Pablo Garcia and Vitolo.
AEK gave up its playoff lead on Wednesday despite going ahead in Thessaloniki in the 14th minute when Nacho Scocco caught PAOK goalkeeper Costas Chalkias off guard with a shot from distance.
But PAOK fought back to seal the win before the break, thanks to a free kick from Garcia in the 29th and a penalty taken by Vitolo seven minutes later.
Panathinaikos remained in contention for a Champions League spot, beating Volos 3-0, with the goals provided by Luis Garcia, Djibril Cisse, and Costas Katsouranis.
