Panama defeats Peru 1-0
Gabriel Torres' free kick in the 76th minute gave Panama a 1-0 victory over 10-man Peru in their friendly Tuesday.
Torres, who entered as a second-half substitute, scored from the edge of the area.
Peru played with 10 men from the 27th minute when defender Carlos Zambrano was sent off.
It was Panama's second straight victory under new coach Julio Dely Valdes. It was also the first loss for new Peru coach Sergio Markarian.
