Page makes Accies loan move

Motherwell defender Jonathan Page has joined the club's near neighbours Hamilton on a month's loan.

The 22-year old has found himself behind Shaun Hutchinson, Simon Ramsden and Adam Cummins in the race for a centre-back spot this season, although he has started two games.

First Division Hamilton say the deal is "initially until the end of October, but with a view to extending it beyond that if required".

Page told MFC TV: "I am hoping to get at least four or five games in the month period with the aim of trying to get back playing at the level I feel I should be.

"I've played a few games here at Motherwell this season, but you can't beat the feeling of playing week in and week out, so that's something I am really looking forward to.

"This First Division is a really good league with a number of excellent teams."
