Police have intercepted packages containing bullets that were sent to Celtic manager Neil Lennon and winger Niall McGinn.

Police on Sunday said the packages addressed to the two men at Celtic in Glasgow were blocked by staff at a Royal Mail sorting office in Mallusk, Northern Ireland last week.

McGinn plays for Northern Ireland, while Lennon also used to play for the country and has received death threats in the past.
