Osasuna has fired coach Jose Luis Mendilibar after the club started the season with three losses that left it bottom of the standings.
Club president Miguel Archanco says he has ''four coaches in the pipeline'' to replace the 52-year-old Mendilibar, who was appointed in February 2011.
Archanco says the club is looking for ''a young, committed coach'' who is prepared to field a young team.
Speaking at a news conference at the club's Pamplona headquarters in northern Spain, Archanco said Tuesday that assistant coach Alfredo Sanchez will take over on a temporary basis.
