ORLANDO, Fla. -- Orlando City Soccer officials say the club has reached sellout status for its inaugural Major League Soccer match.
Club officials said Thursday that an additional allotment of 2,000 standing room-only tickets have now been sold, pushing the sellout for Sunday's match against fellow expansion team New York City FC to 62,000 at Orlando Citrus Bowl Stadium.
The team announced earlier this week that it had sold out of its original offering of 60,000 seats.

Orlando City capped season tickets for the inaugural 2015 season at 14,000, and the team says more than 13,000 of those have been purchased.
Only what's left of that allotment remains for Sunday's match.
