The Nigerian Football Federation have asked for Olofinjana to report for training on December 27, two weeks before the competition in Angola begins. Hull play Manchester United in the Premier League on that date and Bolton two days later before an FA Cup tie against Wigan on January 2. The club are trying to negotiate a compromise with the Nigerian authorities and Olofinjana, only just returned from a hamstring injury, also wants the date pushed back. The 29-year-old told BBC Radio Humberside: "The deliberation is still on. "Officially I am due to report on the 27th, but I have been injured for a while after playing for Nigeria and I don't think it would do any good for me to just play two games and then go off again. "It would be very good if I could help the club as much as I can." Hull are also likely to have Algeria forward Kamel Ghilas and out-of-favour striker Daniel Cousin, of Gabon, involved in the tournament.
