Odense has fired its coach, his assistant and its sporting director two days before the Danish club's opening Europa League match.

Coach Lars Olsen, assistant Viggo Jensen and sporting director Kim Brink were all released after the club said Tuesday it was time to "see things with new eyes" following "a general assessment of the developments and the sporting results in 2010."

The trio were replaced by Uffe Pedersen, Henrik Clausen and Thomas Christensen.

Odense is fourth in Denmark's 12-club league after losing 1-0 to FC Nordsjaelland at home on Saturday.
