Leading scorer Peter Odemwingie insists he is happy to remain at West Brom after helping to secure their Premier League status.
Odemwingie has been the subject of speculation linking him with a move away from The Hawthorns after netting 14 goals in his first campaign.
But the Nigeria international, signed from Lokomotiv Moscow for £2.5million, is adamant he is content to be part of Roy Hodgson's squad.
He said: "I am asked a lot recently if I am staying here. Yes, I am performing good and maybe drawing attention to it.
"As I said, the minimum I need now in my life is Premier League action. When I was coming here it was all I wanted for my career in one of the best leagues.
"We are staying and I am happy. Anything extra that comes, I am not the only one to decide.
"The club is there and, myself, I am there. If I am really in the plans for next year I will embrace it and keep playing."
Odemwingie was on target as the Baggies came from behind to overcome local rivals Aston Villa 2-1 on Saturday.
It enabled him to equal his best tally for a season which he achieved during his spell with Lille.
Odemwingie said: "I have got level with my personal record now and hopefully I can beat it, to score at least one more.
"Hopefully, if we win the next game and we are sure about everything, if we get a penalty then I hope they will let me take it!"
Odemwingie insists he was always confident Albion would survive despite a dismal run of results during the latter days of Roberto Di Matteo's reign.
Now he is targeting a top-10 finish as West Brom look to build on a run of 16 points from nine games under Hodgson.
Odemwingie said: "In that period things were not looking so good, but we were a bit unlucky.
"I knew every team would go through a bad period in the season and that was ours, but I was sure we would come out of it.
"Now other teams are having it and I am happy we had ours early enough so we could buck up and do better.
"I never doubted we were going to stay in the league. Five games ago I said openly 'I believe we are staying up' and am not worried.
"I was playing with confidence and knew with the way we were playing there was no way we were going down.
"Now the target is bigger than just staying up, we are looking to get into the top 10."
