Nouble welcomes Ipswich battle
Ipswich striker Frank Nouble believes competition for places is helping the Tractor Boys' bid for survival.
Mick McCarthy's side have lost just one of their last seven matches and currently lie three points above the relegation zone.
And striker Nouble, who was handed just his second start in the league on Easter Monday, believes the strength in depth at Portman Road will help the Tractor Boys avoid the drop.
"It's good to have competition in the squad," Nouble told the club's website.
"It keeps everybody on their toes, which can only be a good thing, and we have a wide range of strikers at the club, who are all different types of players.
"You've got me, Didsy (David McGoldrick), Murph (Daryl Murphy), Chops (Michael Chopra), Macca (Aaron McLean). A real blend of differing strikers and that variety is definitely needed.
"I'm sure every player will play their part during the last few weeks of the season and it's good to have fresh players available."
