The Argentine league game which was called off when a policemen was shot during a confrontation between hooligan gangs has been rescheduled for June 15.
The Argentine Football Association announced the date Tuesday for the Newell's Old Boys and San Lorenzo game, with a time yet to be determined.
Saturday's game in Rosario was called off after a police officer was shot by hooligans before the match began. He sustained only minor injuries.
Violence is common at club matches in Argentina. Three matches have been suspended in 2011 due to violence, and 13 people have been killed in football-related violence in just over a year in the country.
Two weeks ago, defending champion Estudiantes was leading 2-0 at Huracan when Huracan fans rioted in the stands. The match was suspended and finished behind closed doors last week with Estudiantes winning 3-0.
The last death was March 20 when a San Lorenzo fan died after a confrontation with police outside the Velez Sarsfield stadium.
The nonprofit group ''Let's Save Football'' says 256 people have been killed in Argentina in football-related violence since 1924.
The AFA and its president Julio Grondona have been criticized for doing too little to stem the violence. The AFA says the violence is only a reflection of increased street crime in the South American country.
