No Spurs talks for Amauri

Amauri is expected to leave Juventus in January as his contract expires at the end of the season and the Italian club may want to cash in before he is available for free. The Brazil-born Italy international has not played for Juve this term and is reportedly attracting interest from a number of clubs. Spurs were linked with a summer swoop for Amauri and Juve recently admitted they were hoping he would complete a move to White Hart Lane when the transfer window reopens. However, representative Giampiero Pocetta has not held talks with the Premier League club and has indicated that it is too early to say where Amauri will go. Genoa have expressed an interest and Pocetta will mull over all the possibilities in the next few weeks. "I haven't spoken to Tottenham," the agent told TMW. "Only now are the first indications for the transfer market arriving. "Let's say that there are a number of solutions that we are beginning to take into consideration for the player. "A move to Genoa? They are an important club, but, as I said before, we are considering things and we'll just have to wait and see."
