No miracle cure, warns McInnes
Bristol City manager Derek McInnes has backed his beleaguered team to return to winning ways - but admits there "is no miracle cure".
The Robins are on a terrible run of form which has seen them consigned to the Championship relegation zone after taking just two points from the last 21 available.
But despite growing pressure, McInnes is adamant he can turn things around at Ashton Gate and cites hard work as the key to an up-turn in fortune.
"We have to keep our shoulder to the wheel and keep driving on. There is no miracle cure," he told the Bristol Post.
"I've every confidence that, as quick as this poor run started, we can get back onto a winning run like the one we had not so long ago.
"But we have to make sure we keep working hard - it will not turn around without hard work. Nobody is going to give us anything. We know the areas in which we have to improve and we need to keep working hard at it."
