Nigeria's leading striker Emmanuel Emenike will not play in the African Cup of Nations final on Sunday because of an injury.

The Spartak Moscow player didn't recover from a muscle ailment and was left out of Nigeria's lineup at Soccer City. He is one of the tournament's leading scorers with four goals.

Chelsea striker Victor Moses also had been listed as doubtful because of a left ankle injury but will play.

Both players were injured in the 4-1 win over Mali in the semifinals.
