The coach of Italy's national football team is urging his players to take more risks after the team's failure at the World Cup where it failed to advance from the group stage.
Cesare Prandelli laid out his philosophy Sunday ahead of the team's first training session for a friendly against the Ivory Coast in London on Tuesday.
Prandelli says Italy ''must want to take risks, to overcome our fears.''
He took over from Marcello Lippi after the Azzurri failed to win a match at the World Cup in South Africa.
