New Boca Juniors coach Claudio Borghi says he's upset with midfielder Juan Roman Riquelme, who is in a contract dispute with the club, and is ready to play without him.

Riquelme's contract expired on June 30, and on Thursday he called the club's latest offer ''laughable.''

Riquelme is a fan favorite at Boca, but Borghi said if the midfielder is unhappy he should look elsewhere. Boca announced earlier in the week it had signed striker Martin Palermo to a one-year contract.

According to reports, Palermo and Riquelme are involved in a feud and seldom speak.
