Former Golden Ball winner Pavel Nedved is headed for a spot on Juventus' board of directors.
The Agnelli family's holding company Exor, which holds a 60 percent stake in Juventus, made the proposal Tuesday and it is expected to be approved at the club's next board meeting on Oct. 27.
The 38-year-old Nedved ended his playing career with Juventus after the 2008-09 season, helping the club to two Serie A titles and one Serie B championship.
The Exor proposal would raise the number of board members from seven to 11, also adding the club's new director general Giuseppe Marotta, lawyer Michele Briamonte and Exor financial director Aldo Mazzia.
