Luke Murphy has penned a new two-year contact with League One outfit Crewe Alexandra.
The 22-year-old, a product of the club's famed youth set-up, has made 148 appearances for the Railwaymen, finding the net 17 times.
Manager Steve Davis made the midfielder his captain following the departure of Ashley Westwood to Aston Villa on deadline day.
