It was claimed earlier this week that the Cottagers had lodged a ?4.5million bid for the 26 year-old.
Moxey has rejected that report but admits that the two clubs did previously discuss the possible switch.
"It's just not true. I don't know where that has come from," Moxey told the Express & Star.
"We spoke to them a long time ago but I can honestly say we haven't had a bid from Fulham for Matt Jarvis.

"I am close to their chief executive Alistair Mackintosh and we've spoken a lot, so if there was that level of interest, I would know."
Jarvis still has three more years on his current contract with Wolves and has been linked with a move following the club's relegation from the Premier League.
