Jose Mourinho has vowed to put the Chelsea family "back together" and insists he's 'not risking his legacy' by returning to Stamford Bridge.
The Portuguese will this weekend take charge of his first Premier League game since his first spell in charge at Stamford Bridge came to an unceremonious end back in 2007 as his Blues host Hull.
Mourinho wants to heal the wounds of recent times at the club, most notably the animosity which built up among some fans when Rafa Benitez was appointed as interim manager last season.
He told the Sun: "I want them to be with us as a blue family - a blue family that last year, at certain moments, looked like it was broken.
"I just want to put the family back together so I want them to support us all. I want the players to be supported, I want them to support Chelsea.
"I want them to be with us in good moments and bad moments, in cold weather and sunny weather, at home and away, when we are winning and losing."
Mourinho's successful first spell at the club brought back-to-back league titles, an FA Cup and two League Cups, but he is not worried that he will tarnish that memory if things go wrong this time.
"I don't think I'm risking my legacy," he said. "What you did, you did. No one can delete it, no one can take away my history at Chelsea."
He added: "The only pressure I feel is the pressure of fighting for my own club.
"Because being the manager of Chelsea means more than being the manager of any other club."
