The midfielder is confident Albion's players will be driven on by the desire to avoid a repeat of the hurt felt when they were relegated at the end of the 2008-09 campaign. Morrison believes the Baggies will be harder to break down but also stressed the need to cut out conceding late goals which cost them dearly two seasons ago. The Scotland international said: "If you look at our track record in this league, it's not the best. "As a group of players, we are looking to put that right. "There are a lot of players here who, with all due respect, don't want to be in the Championship again so we are eager to stay up. "The good thing is I think we've learned from what happened two seasons ago. "We will be more solid - but we had other faults too. We don't want to keep conceding late goals like we did last time. "We are looking forward to the challenge of staying up, trying to keep clean sheets and being solid." Morrison is not fazed by the prospect of tackling Carlo Ancelotti's side in the opening fixture. The former Middlesbrough player said: "We are looking forward to testing ourselves against the best. "Chelsea are a good team who are coming off the back of a Premier League and FA Cup double so Saturday is going to be difficult. "But it's a game we're all looking forward to. We have to respect Chelsea - but not give them too much respect. "We have to test ourselves against them and see how far we are able to push them."
