Morata says Juventus colleague Pogba not interested in Real Madrid
Juventus striker Alvaro Morata does not believe that team-mate Paul Pogba has any interest in joining Real Madrid, claiming the midfielder is "happy" in Turin.
"Could Pogba go to Madrid? He's young and he's among the best in the world, but he's happy at Juventus," Morata was quoted as saying by AS.
The 22-year-old left Madrid for Juventus ahead of the 2014-15 campaign, but the Santiago Bernabeu sid have a buy-back clause that offers them the chance to re-sign Morata in the future.
Nevertheless, the young attacker is not thinking about a potential return to the Spanish capital, insisting that his only goal at the moment is proving himself in Serie A.
"I'm happy here," Morata added. "I don't know the size of the release clause. Madrid and Juventus know how much it is, but I can't allow myself to stop and think about that.
"It's tough in Serie A. It's very difficult to score. We work a lot more on the physical side of things here.
"It took me a while to adapt and to feel good on the pitch, but every day I feel stronger and faster."
Morata has netted eight goals in 26 appearances in all competitions so far this term.
