Monaco sporting director Vadim Vasilyev says the newly-promoted club has been offered the chance to sign Manchester United winger Nani.

The principality club has been busy in the transfer market since winning promotion to Ligue 1 last season, and has signed the likes of Radamel Falcao, Eric Abidal, Joao Moutinho and Jeremy Toulalan.

Vasilyev tells French sports newspaper L'Equipe that Nani ''has been offered to us'' but adds ''he is a very good player, but at the moment there have been no talks yet. We have already changed our group quite a bit and we also want to offer opportunities to our young players.''

Nani has a year left on his current contract and Vasilyev has not ruled out making a move before the window closes on Sep. 2.
