Brazil's Sports Minister has promised that the country will be ready in time to host the 2014 World Cup.
Aldo Rebelo says he is confident Brazil will host ''the best World Cup ever.''
He made his remarks after a recent Federal Auditing report said that urban transport projects in the 12 cities that will host the games were behind schedule.
But Rebelo says the projects are under way and that some have already been inaugurated. He also said that the building of new stadiums and the renovation of existing ones was proceeding according to schedule.
