The 20-year-old, an England Under-21 international, has moved to south London on an initial month-long deal. Baker could make his debut for the Lions in Saturday's derby clash with Crystal Palace. "I'm delighted with the move, Championship football is what every young kid is looking for," he told the club's official website. Baker made his Villa debut against Wigan in January and has made five appearances so far. He also had a spell on loan with Lincoln during the 2009/10 season, making 18 appearances.
