Mick praises Toffees boss Moyes
The two clubs meet at Goodison Park on Saturday and have both recently gone through lean spells although Wolves did overcome Wigan in their last outing a fortnight ago. But McCarthy is full of admiration for what Moyes has achieved in a decade with the Toffees while he has also enjoyed relative success in five years at Molineux. McCarthy said: "With Dave, his record has been excellent but like everyone else, you have to cut your cloth accordingly. "Like everyone else, we've just got to scrap away with it and deal with whatever hand you are dealt with and keep cracking on. "Not everyone has got a sheikh or a Russian billionaire to fund them and we do get a fair bit of pleasure out of doing it our way as well. "I certainly do and I'm sure David does as well. He can be proud of his achievements." Wolves ended a run of eight games without a win against the Latics while Everton have lost six of their last seven matches. McCarthy said: "I think we are similar, have a very similar record, and the stakes are pretty high this weekend. "It is their home game, they will looking at it as an opportunity to win. "We are looking at it as something we want to get something from. "Having just got a win under our belts, we don't want to get back to losing ways." Wolves have a virtual clean bill of health after Republic of Ireland players Kevin Doyle, Stephen Ward and Stephen Hunt reported back after their country's Euro 2012 play-off success over Estonia. Right-back Kevin Foley is the only player not available as he continues his comeback from an ankle problem.
