Mexico City -- Mexico will face Israel on May 26 in Estadio Azteca, its last World Cup warm-up on home soil.

The Mexican Football Federation announced the match on Friday.

After facing Israel, Mexico will play three more games in the United States as it prepares for the World Cup in Brazil. These previously announced matches are: Ecuador on May 31 in Arlington, Texas; Bosnia-Herzegovina on June 3 in Chicago; and Portugal on June 6 in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

Mexico plays in Group A in the World Cup and faces Cameroon, Brazil and Croatia.

"Given that the majority of the world's leagues finish their activities on May 26, it was not possible to face a national team qualified for Brazil so we decided the Israeli team was the best option," the Mexican Football Federation said in a statement.
