McInnes wary of Ince threat

Bristol City boss Derek McInnes is well aware of the threat posed by Blackpool winger Thomas Ince ahead of the visit of the Seasiders to Ashton Gate.

The 20-year-old has scored nine goals in just 14 Championship games this season and will be looking to find the back of the net for the fourth successive game against rock-bottom City who have now lost seven games on the spin.

"Thomas is a very good player and they've done well to hold on to him. He is getting better and better each week and he is showing that if he gets enough of the ball he can really punish you whether setting up goals or scoring them himself.

"He is a wide player who chips in with a lot of goals himself and his career is only going one way.

"But it would be wrong to just concentrate just on him. We have to watch him and do the right things when we come up against him but they have got other players who can cause you problems.

"Appy (manager Michael Appleton) has inherited a lot of good footballers there and they will be a tough nut to crack on Saturday."
