He was thought to be a doubt for the Old Firm clash after being attacked after a night out last weekend and sustaining injuries to his eye. The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday morning following a night out and left McGregor with a black eye. Smith confirmed the player would not be disciplined following the incident. And, when asked if he was in the right frame of mind for such an important game, the Rangers boss replied: "I'm sure he will be." He added: "Allan McGregor is just like a lot of other goalies - terrific in the goal, they just seem a bit wayward elsewhere. "There's got to be something the matter with them to want to play in goals anyway. "He has been excellent for us and that's something that we have to take into account as well." Lee McCulloch is also expected to be available for selection despite suffering a knock in training on Friday morning. Gers (from): McGregor, Whittaker, Papac, Weir, Bougherra, Beasley, Lafferty, Davis, Thomson, McCulloch, Miller, Boyd, Novo, Edu, Little, Wilson, Wylde, Alexander.
