McGlynn: We earned victory
Hearts boss John McGlynn was disappointed not to have taken all three points from the 0-0 draw with arch-rivals Hibs at Tynecastle.
The Jambos arguably enjoyed the lion's share of the chances and could have had a first-half penalty when James McPake slid in on Scott Robinson in the box.
McGlynn said afterwards: "We had the possession and opportunities. Hibs had their opportunities as well but for every one of theirs, we probably had two.
"I thought we played good football, tried to pass the ball, get it into good areas and were a bit unlucky because I think we deserved to win the game.
"We felt that we deserved a penalty in the first half as well. I've not seen it again so it's difficult to say, but it looked like that when Scott went for the ball the player went right through him.
"At the time, I felt it was a penalty. TV evidence might tell us something different but I just thought it was a penalty at the time."
