The Canaries led through former Wolves player Andrew Surman and then substitute Simeon Jackson, but goals from Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Ronald Zubar levelled matters for Mick McCarthy's side. The draw moved Wolves two points above the bottom three. McCarthy said: "To come from behind twice, and the response they gave, I thought the players were great. "No-one has left anything on the pitch. They are a great bunch and we will march on and see what happens. "We got off to the worse possible start, conceding a goal. They started well and had a couple more chances. "When we got back into the game, we were on top at the end of the first half and continued that second half. "They scored against the run of play and then at the end of it all, it was a bit crazy." McCarthy took the bold decision to drop striker Kevin Doyle but Ebanks-Blake responded to his call-up in positive fashion. He said: "Sylvan was great. He deserved to play. I'm sorry if I misled you all when I said I was putting my faith in Kevin Doyle (at the press conference). "Sylvan already knew he was playing and it was the right decision. "He played well and got his goal. It gives us healthy competition again for those spots up front." Canaries boss Paul Lambert is taking nothing for granted despite his side being eight points clear of the bottom three. He said: "I never really put an expectancy level on us and the players. They have done brilliantly for me. "Everyone expected us to be bottom and was tipping that but we have done great. "There is a long way to go, it is going to be really tough but we are doing great. "We are playing some good football, competing with teams, but we will take nothing for granted." Lambert added: "I think when you are 2-1 up with 10 minutes to go you just might be able to see it through. "I can't criticise them because the lads have been brilliant. I'm sitting disappointed at getting a point at Wolves and a point at Everton. "Two years ago we were in League One and it speaks volumes for what the players have done for me."
