The Molineux outfit sit in the relegation zone after failing to record a victory since defeating Stoke on the opening day of the season. Wolves are therefore desperate for a win but the prospect of facing the top-flight's big guns is not an enviable task. McCarthy, though, is not intimidated and would rather be playing the likes of Chelsea, United, City and Arsenal than competing in the Championship. "It's a tough run but that's great," he said in The Sun. "These are the games you want to play in and who says we can't beat one of the big boys? "It could be Scunthorpe away, Doncaster at home, Barnsley at home and someone else in the Championship! "We've got four big games but let's get something from them."
