The Clarets, who have the weekend off due to their fourth-round exit from the FA Cup at the hands of Reading, enjoyed a 2-1 win against the Ukrainian league leaders on Friday, with midfielder McCann stepping up his comeback from a knee injury with a decisive strike during his 45-minute run out. Manager Brian Laws told the club's official website: "Chris looked good and obviously it was nice to see him back on the pitch." Goalkeeper Nicky Weaver made his first appearance for the Clarets, completing 90 minutes between the sticks, while left-back Stephen Jordan also featured following his hamstring injury. Laws added: "Both Dynamo Kiev and ourselves were really happy with it and it was a great work-out for us."
