Martinez: Moses' time will come
The talented striker has been used sparingly since completing his move from Crystal Palace in the January transfer window. He played only bit parts against Sunderland and Bolton when, on both occasions, Latics were forced to settle for a point. Martinez, though, says his decision to ease Moses into the game is for the player's and the club's benefit. He believes Moses, 19, should be allowed time to settle at the DW Stadium as he readies himself for a promising career in the top flight of English football. "He is such a talented boy, but we need to help him," Martinez told the Daily Mirror. "Football will make the decision, as soon as I think he is ready, he will play. "At the moment he is enjoying being here and settling in. When he comes on as a sub it doesn't faze him at all." Martinez believes Moses has enormous potential and that he will no doubt become a target for a number of high profile clubs in the future. "You can see he has got the ability that the big clubs would pay big money for," he said. "He can win a game with one single action. He will be a very big player here for years to come."
