Marquez, Ochoa return to Mexico squad
Defender Rafael Marquez and goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa were recalled by Mexico coach Jose Manuel De la Torre on Thursday for friendlies this month against Paraguay and Venezuela.
Marquez and Ochoa have not played for Mexico since De la Torre took over the post late last year.
Also named to the squad were forward Carlos Vela and midfielder Efrain Juarez, who were suspended for six months following their participation in an unauthorized team party in September following a friendly against Colombia.
Mexico, which was knocked out of the World Cup last year by Argentina in the second round, plays Paraguay on March 26 in Oakland, California, and Venezuela on March 29 in San Diego.
Both games are tune-ups for the Gold Cup, which will be played in June in the United States.
