Maradona to attend FIFA disciplinary hearing

Argentina coach Diego Maradona will attend a disciplinary hearing on Sunday at FIFA headquarters into his expletive-filled outburst following his team's qualification for the World Cup.

FIFA may punish Maradona for a crude attack at critics during a media conference that followed a 1-0 win in Uruguay on Oct. 14.

Maradona has said he has nothing to apologize for but FIFA says he has asked for a personal hearing from disciplinary committee chair Marcel Mathier.
