Mancini cools Wanyama talk
Ross County winger Ivan Sproule remains a doubt for Saturday's Scottish Premier League clash with St Johnstone at Victoria Park.
Iain Vigurs is suspended for Ross, but captain Richard Brittain will play despite signing a pre-contract agreement with St Johnstone.
Manager Derek Adams said: "It's a difficult game for him but I'm sure he will get through it and do well, and he'll want to show his new employers what a good player he is."
St Johnstone skipper Dave Mackay is rated doubtful.
Mackay sat out Monday's win over Hibernian with a calf injury and could miss the trip to Dingwall.
Boss Steve Lomas has no fresh injury worries ahead of the meeting with the Highlanders.
Mancini saw the 21-year-old in action during Celtic's 3-0 Champions League loss to Juventus on Tuesday at Parkhead.
But the City boss rubbished suggestions that a move could be on the cards in his press conference ahead of Saturday's FA Cup tie with Leeds.
The Italian said: "I saw him for the first time against Juventus, I never saw him before.
"But every time I go to see a game, the next day people say 'Manchester City want to buy this player'."
When asked whether he would be interested in signing Wanyama, Mancini added: "At the moment, no. I think he is a good player."
The Kenyan joined Celtic in 2011 from Belgian side Beerschot AC. He has scored 12 goals in 79 appearances for the SPL champions.
