Manchester City Loan Adventures: Young midfielder shines
2016/17 will prove an interesting loan season for Manchester City with youth development and a number of experienced players moved across Europe.
Young midfielder Bersant Celina debut for FC Twente this weekend and netted his first goal for the side. An impressive debut, although his side dropped the match 3-1. Manchester City loanee Yam Yeboah also saw action in the match for FC Twente.

That was just the start to a great week for Celina. He was apart of history as Kosovo played their first competitive international fixture. Bersant came on as a substitute as his nation drew 1-1 against Finland in the opening of 2018 World Cup Qualifying.
Loanee Results Roundup
– One of the best loanee results of the weekend goes to the Australian Aaron Mooy. He scored a 25 yard winner to help Huddersfield top Leeds United 1-0. The side sit a top the Championship table.

– As noted earlier this week, Joe Hart debuted for Torino in a 2-1 defeat to Atalanta. Manchester City fans will hope Joe sees a good run of fortune while in Serie A after a tough exit.
– Three City players saw action in La Liga this past weekend. Samir Nasri was involved in Sevilla’s 2-1 victory, while Eliaguim Mangala and Valencia dropped points in a 2-3 result against Real Betis. Finally, young Marlos Moreno appeared for Deportivo La Caruna in a 1-0 loss.
– Outside of the Manchester Derby this past weekend, the biggest rival match was the Old Firm. Celtic and Rangers battled for the first time in four years in the top flight. Striker Patrick Roberts appeared for Celtic as they rolled to a 5-1 victory.
