Dozens of fans from two rival teams have been involved in a brawl in Brazil, leading to the death of a 19-year-old man.
Police say Otavio Fernandes was killed due to head injuries after being repeatedly hit by iron bars in Saturday's fight between Atletico Mineiro and Cruzeiro fans in the southeastern city of Belo Horizonte.
The Agencia Estado news service said Monday that Cruzeiro fans were on their way to watch a match when they came across Atletico fans attending another event in the city.
More than 50 fans were involved in the fighting, which also left two men hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries.
