Real Madrid will be without Brazil playmaker Kaka for two weeks after another knee injury setback.

The club says the former world player of the year has injured the same left knee that was operated on after last summer's World Cup.

Madrid says the 28-year-old Kaka complained of pain following a Feb. 26 game at Deportivo La Coruna and subsequent tests revealed the injury.

Kaka also battled a groin injury before finally making his first appearance of the season for Madrid in January. Coach Jose Mourinho has pleaded patience as the Brazilian's has struggled to return to form after the long layoff.
