Lyon has signed Croatia defender Dejan Lovren from Dinamo Zagreb.
The French club said Thursday that the 20-year-old center
back has joined for an initial fee of €8 million ($11.6
million) on a 4 1/2-year contract.
Lyon said the fee could rise to €9.5 million ($13.8
million) depending on bonuses.
Lovren, who can also play as a full back, has made two
international appearances for Croatia.
