Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano will be sidelined until January because of an ankle injury.
The Spanish club said Monday that the Brazil international will be out for two to three weeks after he hurt his right ankle during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Valladolid in the league.
Fabiano will miss Tuesday's Champions League match against Rangers and two league matches before the Christmas break.
He has scored five goals in 10 league appearances and twice in Europe to go along with four assists to help Sevilla top Group G.
