Long salutes Albion response
The Baggies struggled in the opening 45 minutes of the goalless Premier League encounter at The Hawthorns following Roy Hodgson's decision to send his side out in a 4-3-3 formation. He reverted to 4-4-2 for the second half and Albion striker Long feels there were plenty of positives about the way the team played from there. "The first half was a bit of a wake-up call for us," Long told the club's official website. "But we were unlucky not to get the three points in the end. "Fulham are a good side - a top-10, top-eight team. We weren't at the office at all and it was good to get to half-time. The gaffer said a few words to us and got us going. In the second half we gave it a good shot and they were on the back foot. "There were a lot of positives to take from it into Sunderland (this Saturday)."
