Long: Pete partnership can click
Boss Roy Hodgson has only managed to play his first-choice pairing on six occasions due to injuries, with Saturday's 2-1 loss at home to Wigan the first time in two months. Hodgson believes if he can get the duo playing together on a regular basis then the Baggies "will be dangerous". Long, who is Albion's top scorer with five this season, has no doubts he and Odemwingie will click. "We haven't played too many games together and it takes a while to get it going," Long told the club's official website. "Peter is obviously a very good striker and he knows what he's doing. I think I learn a lot off him and it will blossom in time. "He's been unlucky with injury, and so have I too. Hopefully over the next few weeks we'll get a good partnership going together."
