Lippi names three new faces in squad
Italy coach Marcello Lippi named three new faces in his 23 man
squad for Wednesday's friendly match against Cameroon in Monaco.
Palermo goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu, Bari defender Leonardo
Bonucci and Cagliari midfielder Andrea Cossu were all included in
the Italy squad for the first time on Sunday.
Serie A's leading scorer Antonio Di Natale, who has hit 19
goals in the league so far, is one of four strikers in the squad,
along with AC Milan's Marco Borriello, Sampdoria's Giampaolo
Pazzini and Napoli's Fabio Quagliarella.
Sirigu will compete with Federico Marchetti and Morgan De
Sanctis for the vacant goalkeeper's jersey after first-choice
'keeper Gianluigi Buffon was ruled out of the game with a thigh
injury.
