French champion Lille has signed Poland striker Ireneusz Jelen on a one-year deal.
Lille announced the deal on its website, without giving any further details.
The 30-year-old was a free agent after playing the last five seasons at Auxerre, where he scored 59 goals in 164 matches in all competitions.
Jelen, who has scored five goals in 28 appearances for Poland, said Lille ''is a good club which did the (League and French Cup) double last year.''
