Leverkusen's Kadlec banned for 3 matches

Bayer Leverkusen defender Michal Kadlec has been banned for three Bundesliga games.

Kadlec was sent off in his team's 0-0 draw with champion Borussia Dortmund on Saturday for a rough tackle on Mario Goetze in the 65th minute.

Goetze himself was sent off 12 minutes later for an apparent attempt to retaliate against another Leverkusen player. He was banned for two games and fined ?10,000 ($14,487).

Dortmund captain Sebastian Kehl was also suspended for two matches for shoving the fourth official.

The German football federation announced the suspensions on Monday.
