Levante has signed Asier del Horno after the veteran Spanish defender terminated his contract with Valencia.
The Spanish club says the 30-year-old fullback has agreed to a one-year deal.
Del Horno played for Levante last season on loan from Valencia, scoring two goals in 22 appearances.
The former Spain international played for boyhood club Athletic Bilbao before a move to Chelsea in 2005. A year later he returned to Spain with Valencia only to see injuries limit his playing time.

Levante opens the Spanish league against Zaragoza on Aug. 21.
